The details of the two prints Raffled are below.

Gustavs over Sola Stavanger

gustav

The main subject this very nice print is a 109G-14 flown by Ofw Heinz Halstrick of 16/JG-5 of IV Gruppe in Norway while he waits for ground fog to clear before landing in late 1944. Ofw Heinz Halstrick finished the ware with an impressive tally of 13 claims and one ship.
The strong focus on the plane itself and the fine, highly accurate level of detail around the cockpit and underside of the Bf-109G are superb. Barrys blending of the technical with the artistic has to be studied at length to appreciate. One for the aviation buff or historian to really enjoy and savour.

The actual print on offer for this raffle has been donated by the artist himself and is one of only 60 Artist Remarques that were produced! So this is indeed a rare opportunity to own a piece of aviation art of the highest calibre.

Tanks for the Memories

Pictured moving across the Puckapunyal range are the four tanks that have equipped the Australian 1st Armoured Regiment since it was raised in July 1949. They include the M1A1 Abrams, Leopard AS1, Centurion MKV/1 and Churchill MK VII.

This painting was specially commissioned by the Aust. 1st Armoured Regiment for their 63rd anniversary and also for the cover of a book on the history of 1st Armoured which is to be released later this year.

These limited edition prints are to be made available to past and present members of the 1st Armoured Regiment prior to any public sale. So this is a special opportunity to secure a piece of Australian military history.

Make sure you don't miss out on the chance to be in the running for these fine examples of military art.
