The 2016 Model Expo was held held on the weekend of the 15 - 16 October 2016 at our new venue, Immanuel College, 32 Morphett Road Novar Gardens SA

We had a new category in the this years SAPMA expo. The new category is CA1 - Civil Aircraft non military scheme - Open all scales.
Any Aircraft in civilian markings operated by a non military operator. This includes airliners, fire bombers, air racers, light aircraft search and rescue etc.
Oh and as NASA is principally a civilian organisation, aircraft in NASA markings would qualify.
SA Model Expo
“the past, present and future in miniature”
The annual S.A. SCALE MODEL EXPO showcases the hobby of scale modeling. Hundreds of museum-quality scale model aircraft,
cars,trucks, motorbikes, sci-fi fantasy figures / vehicles, tanks, ships and historical figures will be on display for public
The feature activity of the S.A. SCALE MODEL EXPO is the open South Australian scale model competition
(including separate categories for junior modellers). Models can be entered in either technical judged categories, public voting
or for display only.
Other activities of the SAPMA expo are traders stalls where you can pick up a bargin, and demonstrations by award winning modellers
so that you can improve on those all important skills.
We also have canteen facilities with food and drinks available including coffee and tea. So you can enjoy refreshments
while checking out your your purchases from the traders.

SAPMA is a supporter of Soldier On. A Portion of SAPMA's income including the EXPO will be used to support Soldier on and the good work they do in

To celebrate SAPMA's support of Soilder On, SAPMA will be sponsoring the Soldier On Award for "Best post WWII Australian Subject" which commenced
